Kyrie with a BIG game, did he save Lebron? LOL yeah that made me laugh too

Last night in Cleveland Kyrie Irving had his best game since the 2016 NBA Finals with 42 points and a sick fake behind the back pass to Kevin Love that almost made Jae Crowder pull his groin. Kyrie has been somewhat subpar this postseason by his standards only (Only lol) averaging 23 points per this postseason (he avg 25 against the Pacers on 42% shooting and 22ppg on 38% against the Raptors though he did avg 8 assists a game in that series). So last night's showing was a welcome sight for Cleveland fans (or anti Warriors fans) but instead of us today just celebrating a great signature game by a great player we have (or Stephen A does anyway smh) to ask did he save Lebron. Lol part me has to laugh because I fall for this media ookie doke every damn time. WHENEVER any and I mean ANY of Lebron's teammates have good game like they're paid to do the first thing people run to is "Oh (insert player name here) saved Lebron tonight. Lebron should be so thankful to have this guy on his team because he's not afraid of the moment!" Bruh I literally just wanted my remote control to through my tv so it would crack this mf Stephen A. Smith upside his head this morning when I heard him spill that bullshit out his mouth this morning. Now to give some context SAS stated that Lebron was taken off the hook by Kyrie because Lebron looked bored and disinterested to start the game and even after uncharacteristically picking up 4 first half fouls (the first time that's ever happened in his career at any time). Now to be fair to SAS Cleveland was down and kind of lost even though Boston didn't extend their lead when Bron went to the bench in part because of Uncle Drew and Love and co. And then in the 3rd Unc went full Pepsi commercial on Boston putting an Kobeesque (or Lebronesque see Detroit circa 2007 or Boston circa 2012) scoring performance and Cleveland needed every bucket as James was still getting his rhythm back which he effectively did midway through the 3rd but Kyrie was going so good no one would dare to take the ball away from him at that point, not Lebron, not Love, not Kobe, not Jordan. And Lebron effectively helped close the door on Boston's hopes with 15 points in the fourth (2 of which coming courtesy of a blatant palming violation but was a  pretty move nonetheless like an And1 move lol). But this brings me to my point and issue yet again  with Steve, why does Lebron always have to be saved when his teammates do their job and play well? I mean did Pippen save Jordan when the Bulls were down 15 in the 92 Finals and Jordan was on the bench and Pippen and the bench brought the Bulls back? Did Gasol save Kobe in 2010 when Kobe missed the game winner in Game 6 vs a young OKC team and tipped it back in to keep it from going to game 7 (sidenote if Lebron missed that game winner like Kobe did and Love tipped in. SAS would DEFINITELY say Lebron got saved and he wouldn't be alone. But when Kobe does it...smh)? The answer is no they didn't get saved, their teammates stepped up for them like they are supposed to but again the same rules never apply to James. And before all the Stephen A. lovers run to his defense with claims like Lebron was coming off a horrible game 3 and started game 4 roughly so that's why the word "saved" seems fitting to the situation. I would ask you guys this, if Cleveland just as a whole played well and got the lead back without no real standout performance by any one player would you still consider him getting "saved" or would it just be a credit to his teammates like when the Spurs or even these Celtics rally as a group without their best player? And my second question would be how sure are you that Lebron himself wouldn't have brought his team back on his own had Kyrie not been on fire? I mean to question whether the King could do that is rather silly at this point and even with his 4 first half fouls he still seemed to be getting his rhythm and his sneakers had paint on them more in that limited first half than it did in all of game 3. And lastly I would ask what the hell is Lebron being saved from exactly by Kyrie. Because EVEN if Cleveland still lost that game last night would Stephen A. be willing to bet his paycheck that Cleveland would lose the series then? We all know the answer to that question so again tell me what the hell was Lebron being saved from? Playing one more ECF game on his home floor? Cuz they're flying back home after game 5 regardless smh. So again Stephen "Nay" Smith as in nay should you EVER disrespect the King like that boi! Lol, but again this is what these guys get paid to do and they know how to grab ratings smh.
