Uhhhhhhhh smdh this mf Stephen A. Smith, how you keep a job when FLAGRANTLY keep lying and tilting facts to perpetuate a narrative to support you boys MJ and Kobe. How he is on a national televised show and can continue to give unbalanced reviews of players particularly Lebron James is asinine as he himself would put it. This won't be a long post because it doesn't have to be, hell the image above says enough but I'm going to go in just a bit on this

So first disclosure is my references will be for PLAYOFF competition only, Jordan has way better regular season clutch stats in fact in the regular season Lebron is not good at all really in clutch moments (that could also be because in the regular season Lebron doesn't have many close games as compared to the playoffs but its a knock on Lebron still). And if you want to knock Lebron on regular season lack of cluthness (if that's a word...it is now lol) then go right ahead I won't argue you but we all know you can't win a championship between October and April. But given how when comparing MJ SAS always bring up how MJ is 6-6 in the finals when comparing him to anyone I feel it only makes sense to only focus on postseason clutch stats since that's when the games count the most right? Now on to Stephen A. he continue to perpetuate this narrative that you don't want to give Lebron the ball in the last two minutes of the game because he's not a "killer" he has no "killer instinct" which I'll first call bullshit on because you're basing someone being a killer based on their scoring ability? So if a mf can shoot the ball and decides to shoot in the last two minutes like he has all damn game now all of sudden he's a damn killer!? With this dumb ass narrative he's basically saying anyone who can't shoot because driving to the basket becomes much harder in the clutch because no defensive 3 second calls are being made then (with the zone you're allowed to play now it's almost impossible to get to the rim unless you have one penetrator with 4 shooters around which Cleveland often goes to, because with the schemes today you can put a 6'8 wing on a guy and then have a big 6'10 rover or spy like how mike linebackers used to defend Mike Vick in his prime in football behind that guy. So getting a shot in the clutch is ten times harder than just dealing with hand checking especially when you had illegal defense in the 90's so you could stand Luc Longley in the corner and force the center to go over there with him to clear out the lane) , no hand checking fouls are called so most players in today's game are going to relegated to taking a tough pull up or calling for a screen to get open or cause a switch for a better matchup. So with this dumb ass narrative again all time greats like Gary Payton, Jason Kidd, Kevin Garnett or Tim Duncan wouldn't be considered killers because they couldn't get or consistently make shots at the end of the game when a defense is loaded up to stop one play where you're probably gonna have to shoot a pull up J (not saying these guys haven't hit big shots or game winners but they haven't hit many and according to SAS's dumb ass logic the only killers are guys who can shoot pull up jumpers or long three's because those are usually the shots that are available at the end of games and you're not allowed apparently as a player to just not have a pull up or 3 point shot apart of your game and still be considered a killer because the shot is all that counts. Not defense, not setting up teammates, not leadership only shooting so I guess Rudy Gay and Joe Johnson should be in the hall of fame because statistically they are the best clutch players by far of this era and Stephen A probably has their posters on his wall in his bedroom) which is just idiotic. See guys like SAS will sell the narrative that MJ hit every clutch shot and Lebron hits none or he does it's an anomaly even though as the stats and the photo above says MUCH DIFFERENT but hey what are facts anyway right? SAS would have you believe "Oh MJ never ALLOWED a series to go to game 7 in the finals" OH REALLY!? Let's go to the 96' finals vs the Sonics what did MJ exactly do to not ALLOW the finals to go to 7 games huh!? Michael Jordan Stephen A.'s messiah had 22 points on 5/19 shooting (26%) he did make 11 free throws but he also had 5 turnovers while being guard by a 6'4 Gary Payton who is an all time great no doubt but far from a 6'8 Kawhi or Iggy. But you know what REALLY kept that series from going 7 games? Sam Perkins! Who went 3/14 (0/7 from 3pt) for only 7 points when he was one of the best 3 point shooting bigs in the league at that time! So again Stephen A. has more bullshit coming out his mouth to help this narrative for his buddy MJ (and MJ lite aka Kobe Bryant) and I'm not even going to into how John Paxson ended the Suns series. But back to how he is allowed to perpetuate a narrative for Lebron with a certain criteria that is not held to anyone else. Is he basing this on his regular season clutch shooting? If that's the case then state that and I have less of a problem with it but when you value playoffs and finals over everything and you choose to IGNORE the FACTS that he shoots a better percentage than MJ did, while making more big clutch shots and having the same amount of buzzer beaters as Stephen A's Jesus and you still say in the last two minutes you can't trust him!? LOL BRUH! I heard him today to First Take ask Max Kellerman would you give the ball to Lebron for the last shot if he couldn't pass the ball? Hold on so now we have to change the rules of the game to give MJ an edge again!? Lol Mj passed the ball to teammates himself in the clutch but you propose a situation where Lebron has the ball but can't pass but he can still get double teamed!? I swear bruuuhhhhhhhh I have NO clue how this mf keeps a job with bullshit he says!
